Savage Messiah - "Carnival of Souls" Exclusive Stream
One of the many fresh-faced British bands that are both technically-inclined and melodic, Savage Messiah are on the verge of a breakout with their forthcoming Plague of Conscious album. Set for release next month via Earache Records, the album is a bristling onslaught of melodic thrash, one that gives both Evile and Sylosis a run for their collective money.
Because we're stoked about these guys, we're hosting an exclusive stream of "Carnival of Souls," one of the many standouts on Plague of Conscious. Here's what mainmain David Silver had to say about the track:
"'Carnival of Souls' was one of the earlier tracks written for the record and deals with lots of ideas about social, economic and spiritual manipulation. Musically it's a good snap shot of what the band's about, being both fast and heavy, but also containing lots of melodic moments. The first guitar solo played by Joff (our second lead guitarist) is my favourite solo on the whole record and he blew me away when he pulled that off in the studio. This is a cool introduction into Savage Messiah, so we hope you like it!"
