THE CLEANSING Signs With DEEPSEND RECORDS

THE CLEANSING, the new Danish band featuring former members of USIPIAN, has issued the following update:

"We have finally decided on a label and we are happy to tell you that [THE CLEANSING's debut album] 'Poisoned Legacy' will be released on U.S. label Deepsend Records in early 2009. As some of you might know, they are already working with fellow Danish death metal act DAWN OF DEMISE.

"As soon as we have an exact release date we will let you know! We are looking forward to work with Deepsend.

"We are still working on cover, we are finally getting there — it's gonna be sick! And don't worry — a new track from the album will be up very soon as promised!"

"Poisoned Legacy" was produced by Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, ABORTED, DAWN OF DEMISE, VOLBEAT) and is described in a press release as "an album of highest quality destined to be a favorite of fans of MORBID ANGEL, IMMOLATION, DAWN OF DEMISE or VADER."
