Lamb of God has a history of very entertaining and interesting DVDs (not to mention albums). Their newest release of Walk With Me In Hell continues that trend with a whopping five hours of content. If you are a fan of Pantera’s home videos or the Killadelphia DVD, then this is a must have for you.

The main feature is a documentary of the band as they explode in status in the metal world both before and after recording Sacrament. Lamb of God’s journey begins opening for Slayer on the Unholy Alliance Tour in summer 2006, followed by an opening spot for Megadeth on Gigantour 2006 (what a summer that was). As the band states on the DVD, this is evidence to the band that they have indeed “made it.”

After these tours, Lamb of God did some promotion for Sacramentand hit the road for almost two years, playing in many necks of the world they had not played before — including Japan, Australia, Finland, and other European countries. During this segment you see what it’s like for a touring band to not have the luxuries as they do in the states, with equipment and such. As a viewer, you really connect with the band for this, as it’s a very introspective documentary of the band.

Disc 2 contains a making of Sacrament documentary (the same one that came with the special edition album). This is an interesting watch as well. Lamb of God’s top-notch live set from the 2007 Download Festival is also on this disc, which is very high-quality and very intense, so much so, it’ll make you wish you could start a wall of death right in your living room. The final part of this disc contains footage from the video shoot from “Redneck,” as well as the video itself. This portion is sure to pull a few laughs.

Again, this is a must-buy for any Lamb of God fan, and is highly recommended for those who may not be as familiar with the band.
