Hot Topic Present 2007 Take Action! Tour

Confirmed Line-Up Announcement: The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Emery, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, A Static Lullaby, and Kaddisfly All To Perform
VAN NUYS, CA - November 17, 2006 - Hopeless & Sub City Records are excited to announce the confirmed full line-up for the 2007 national Take Action! Tour benefiting the Youth America Hotline! (YAH!). Headlining the event will be The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus who will perform along with Emery, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, A Static Lullaby, and Kaddisfly. This sixth annual charitable tour is slated to kick off in early February 2007 and hit over forty cities with alternative music's fastest rising bands.
The annual Take Action! Tour- presented by Hot Topic is a multi-city, nationwide non-profit tour that brings the issue of suicide and depression to the front page. Every day in America thirteen people between the ages of 12 and 24 die from suicide. The Take Action! Tour encourages young people to get involved with charitable organizations and make a difference in their community.
Take Action aims to create a better world, one voice and one action at a time. It is Take Action's mission to educate people about the positive difference that can be made by each of us in our community through activism and charitable work.
Hopeless/Sub City Records, the founder and organizer of the tour, are happy to once again donate 10% of all 2007 Take Action! Tour ticket sales and 5% of the retail price for each compilation CD sold to the Youth America Hotline! 1-877-YOUTHLINE (968-8454). This benefiting charity was founded by the Kristen Brooks Hope Center to help young people in crisis through peer-to-peer counseling and educating young people about mental health issues. Take Action raised over $100,000 last year for the Youth America Hotline!
